About the firm

Law Vault Pro began when a small group of senior lawyers chose to practise together in Telok Ayer rather than expand into a large open-plan floor. The name on the door is newer than the working habits — methodical drafting, plain-language updates, scope agreed before the first mark-up.

We are an independent firm. Decisions about which matters to accept, how to staff them, and how to communicate with clients are made inside the chambers, not routed through a distant panel.

Our office occupies a shophouse unit on Telok Ayer Street, a short walk from the MRT and the Robinson Road corridor. The layout favours quiet document review and small meetings rather than reception theatre. Visits are by appointment.

People here are described by role, not by invented accolades. Corporate and commercial lawyers handle governance and transaction documentation. Employment specialists focus on contracts, policies and workplace correspondence. Compliance work sits alongside advisory instructions for regulated sectors. Support staff keep versioning, filing and scheduling precise so lawyers can focus on substance.

A typical working day starts early — documents reviewed before clients arrive, calls clustered in the middle hours, drafting continuing into the afternoon when matters require it. We do not advertise round-the-clock availability; we do honour agreed deadlines stated in engagement letters.

South-East Asia clients often instruct us for Singapore-facing work while coordinating with their own overseas counsel. We are comfortable in that role: clear about what we opine on and what we leave to local experts elsewhere.

The firm deliberately remains small. Growth, for us, means depth in the fields we hold — not a branded network of offices. When workload exceeds capacity, we extend timelines or decline new matters rather than hand files to unreviewed contractors.

Professional development is continuous but quiet — internal seminars on regulatory updates, paired review on significant drafts, and occasional second-reader passes on contracts before they leave the building. We do not display certificates in the reception; competence shows in the documents.

Community involvement stays private. We do not trade pro bono publicity for marketing content on this site. If pro bono work is undertaken, it is managed with the same scope discipline as paid engagements.

The Telok Ayer address places us near the Cecil Street and Robinson Road professional corridor without occupying a tower lobby. Clients who prefer a smaller meeting room to a glass conference floor tend to find the chambers comfortable. Tea and water are available; grand reception rituals are not part of how we work.

Document security in the office follows sensible physical and digital hygiene — locked filing, encrypted transmission where used, clean-desk expectations in shared areas. Details are available to clients during onboarding if their policies require a short security note.
