Privacy notice
Last updated: 12 August 2026
Law Vault Pro Pte. Ltd. ("we", "us") respects personal data entrusted to us. This notice explains how we handle information when you visit lawvaultpro.life, contact us, or instruct us as clients. It is written for Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) context and general best practice.
Who is responsible
The data controller for website and firm operations is Law Vault Pro Pte. Ltd., 152 Telok Ayer Street, #06-02, Singapore 068602. Data-protection enquiries: [email protected].
Information we collect
Website visitors. Essential cookies operate the site. With your consent, functional cookies load Google Maps embeds. We do not use analytics cookies in this build. Server logs may record IP addresses, browser type and pages viewed — retained briefly for security and troubleshooting.
Enquiries. When you email us, we process the content of your message, your email address, and attachments you send. We use this solely to assess and respond to your enquiry.
Clients. During engagements we process personal data necessary to provide legal services — names, contact details, corporate affiliations, matter documents, and billing contact information where applicable. Scope is defined in engagement letters.
How we use personal data
- Respond to enquiries and communicate about potential engagements
- Deliver legal services under agreed scope
- Meet professional, regulatory and record-keeping obligations
- Maintain website security and cookie preferences you select
We do not sell personal data. We do not use website data for automated profiling or advertising.
Legal bases and consent
Client data is processed to perform contracts and meet legal obligations. Website functional cookies rely on your consent via the cookie banner. Essential cookies are necessary for the site to function. You may withdraw cookie consent at any time through the cookie notice or browser settings — maps will remain placeholder until functional consent is granted again.
Google Maps
Embedded maps are provided by Google when you allow functional cookies. Google's processing is governed by their policies. Maps show the neighbourhood at approximate scale, not a precise unit pin. See our cookie notice for detail.
Retention
Cookie preferences persist for approximately six months unless cleared earlier. Enquiry emails are retained as long as needed to assess fit and for reasonable record-keeping. Client files follow professional retention rules stated in engagement letters and applicable regulation.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures — access limits, secure transmission where appropriate, and staff confidentiality obligations. No method of transmission is completely secure; please avoid sending highly sensitive material until engagement terms are agreed if you have concerns.
Sharing
We may share data with service providers who assist hosting or IT operations, bound by confidentiality. We may disclose data where required by law or court order. We do not share client matter information with marketing platforms.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may request access to, correction of, or cessation of collection of your personal data, subject to legal exceptions. Contact [email protected]. We respond within reasonable timeframes.
Cross-border transfers
Primary storage and practice are in Singapore. If tools process data outside Singapore, we assess appropriate safeguards before use.
Children
This site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from minors through the website.
Changes
We may update this notice; the date above will change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
Complaints
If you believe we have handled personal data incorrectly, contact [email protected] first so we can investigate. You may also have rights to lodge complaints with the Personal Data Protection Commission in Singapore where applicable.
Records of processing
We maintain internal records of categories of data processed, purposes, retention and recipients — available to regulators when required. Clients may request summaries of how their matter data is stored during an active engagement.
Marketing
We do not send unsolicited marketing email based on website browsing. Enquiry correspondence is not added to mailing lists. News about the firm, if ever sent, would require separate consent — none is collected through this site today.
Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing of personal data from the website.
Data breach notification
If a breach affecting personal data occurs, we will assess notification obligations under applicable law and contact affected individuals or authorities where required. Report suspected security issues to [email protected].
Third-party processors
Hosting and email infrastructure may process limited personal data on our instructions. We select providers with reasonable security practices and contractual confidentiality where available.
Access requests
Access requests should identify the data subject and the information sought. We may request reasonable verification before releasing records. Some material may be withheld where privilege, confidentiality to other clients, or legal exemption applies.
Updates to contact details
Keep your contact details accurate during engagements so correspondence reaches the right person. Tell us promptly if your data-protection contact changes or if you require copies sent through a specific secure channel.
Minimisation
We collect only what is needed for the stated purpose. Enquiry emails should not attach full data rooms unless necessary — we will request documents in a structured list once scope is understood.
Duration of site relationship
Browsing the site without contacting us generally leaves only server logs and optional cookie data as described above. No client file is opened until an engagement is agreed.
Privacy notices explain data handling; they do not create a solicitor–client relationship. Information about our practice on other pages remains general. If you need advice on your own circumstances, contact us so we can assess whether an engagement is appropriate — do not rely on website text alone.
